Jen and Tanner

Tanner is a bay thoroughbred who was purchased by Jenny as a two-year old. Like Aries and Black Jack, he had a somewhat underwhelming race career in which he ran one time earning a total of $0 for his efforts.  Apparently the scintillating turn of speed he displayed coming down the stretch was enough to convince the trainer that a different career was in order.  That was when Jenny walked into his life and gave him a good home.

He has enjoyed a successful second career at local dressage shows and events and he is currently enjoying life in a large grass field!

I first met Jenny when she was 14. Since then, I have watched her graduate from high school and university.

She’s been a wonderful friend and was an immense help with Ears, especially in the early days – she was even responsible for his new name!
