Christine and Terri

Christine started half leasing Terri in December 1999. Terri is a 16-year old thoroughbred who never made it to the track due to her lack of pace - something Christine is quite grateful for! After riding her for almost a year, Christine wanted to start showing her and she started to full lease her. They did their first Beginner Novice Horse Trails at Iron Bridge and won the event!

Two years later, Christine had the opportunity to buy Terri and the pair has been inseparable ever since. She boarded Terri at Maple Spring Farm until July of 2007 when they moved to Merry Acres Farm. That is where I met them.

Terri is a wonderful mare who provides a very consistent ride for Christine both on the flat and over fences. Christine is a very dedicated rider who is working on improving the connection over Terri's back. Terri, like many mares, loves apples and hates to be groomed.
